Recipes/Bjorn's Spaghetti Sauce
From Bilbo
- Ground beef - 1.5 pounds
- Green pepper - 1
- Onion - 1 large
- Italian seasoning - 2 tsp
Mix above ingredients and heat on medium until meat is brown. Transfer to a crock pot or large pot on medium.
- Spaghetti sauce - 100 oz
- Tomato paste - 12 oz
Add above ingredients and mix until smooth and warm.
- Spaghetti sauce mix - 1.375 oz
- Garlic - 3 tbsp minced or 3 chopped cloves
- Mushrooms - 8oz chopped
Add above ingredients and mix until smooth and warm.
- Oregano - 2 tsp
- Basil leaves - 1 tsp
- Italian seasoning - 2 tsp
Add above ingredients and mix until smooth and warm.
- Green olives - 6 oz
- Black olives - 7 oz
Cover and simmer on low for awhile (longer is better), stirring occasionally.
- Spaghetti noodles
Prepare as directed while simmering sauce.
